(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – Chris Worrell has been held by the federal government for over five months now after he fired pepper spray during all of the madness that took place on January 6th. Worrell says that the pepper spray was aimed at individuals he believed were members of radical leftist terrorist group Antifa who were apparently targeting police officers.
According to Gateway Pundit, Worrell (pictured here) has been denied bail since March 12 and has been shipped from Florida to Oklahoma, then to Virginia, and finally to D.C.
“He has been subjected to horrific conditions including a lack of water for sometimes up to seven hours and contracted COVID on top of his non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma cancer,” the report says, adding, “The proud and patriotic American is now severely at risk of dying from COVID or metastasizing cancer advancing while being denied bail. Chris has been denied his cancer medication by DC leftist authorities for 166 days.”
Worrell’s doctor, Dr. Bino Rucker went on to sign an affidavit that was part of an earlier motion that said “[c]ontinuing confinement at the federal detention center presents a substantial risk of serious infection to Mr. Worrell and his transfer to home confinement would significantly decrease the risk to his health in connection with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.”
As if that’s not bad enough, apparently the jail has been denying the medications that Worrell needs which were prescribed by Dr. Rucker.
“Mr. Worrell has suffered aggravating symptoms of his cancer, including lymphomas of the skin on his face. The lesions are often itchy, scaly, and red to purple – appearing in different parts of the skin and increase Mr. Worrell’s COVID infection risk,” the motion goes on to say.
Worrell had gone to DC with his girlfriend on January 6 to hear President Donald Trump deliver a speech and to exercise their right to protest the results from the 2020 presidential election.
Because of all of the violence that has come from the radical left aimed at Trump supporters, Worrell decided to wear a protective vest that was lined with plastic and was legally carrying a small bottle of pepper spray for his own protection.
“Following the Stop the Steal rally, Worrell followed the crowd of thousands of people to Capitol Hill to protest. The situation was peaceful at first, but escalated when people began to push against the police barriers to get into the Capitol building,” GP’s report says.
“In videos he recorded on the scene, Worrell can repeatedly be heard calling for peace. One of the clips from his phone captures him telling an officer that he was “not coming through,” when he accidentally bumped into a barricade trying to back away from the situation,” the report notes.
GP’s report then goes on to say, “During the chaos, Worrell saw people that he believed to be Antifa pushing towards the police. He maintains that he discharged his pepper spray towards the people he believed to be leftist agitators, to protect the officers. The government claims that he was trying to spray the police, but have not offered any evidence to back this up. Eventually, they conceded that the government “do[es] not currently know with certainty the target at which Worrell was spraying.”
There has not been any victim offered that was supposedly hurt by pepper spray.
A warrant was issued for Worrell’s arrest on March 12. The FBI ended up raiding his home while he was gone on a camping trip. The FBI then pressured his wife into calling him and directing him to just go ahead and turn himself in. He cut the trip short and came back home, calling the FBI every half an hour during the ride just as he was instructed.
When he arrived home, he was arrested and his cell phone was taken. Worrell fully cooperated with authorities, even providing the agents with his password. Ever since then, Worrell has been denied bail while others who went inside the Capitol building have been granted it, despite the fact he’s battling cancer.
This garbage has to stop. Now.
