(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – There has been so much corruption and wickedness over the course of the last six years, it’s hard to keep up.
Even if we wanted to forget about Hillary Clinton and the Democrats hatching the Russian collusion hoax back when President Trump was candidate Trump, they made sure that would never happen.
For four years while President Trump was in office, serving and working for the American people every day, the Democrats were hell-bent on pushing this phony narrative.
There are still radical leftists in the media and Congress who have no shame and, despite the entire hoax unraveling, will still speak about Trump and Russia as if he actually had been a Russian agent.
These people are sick.
We’ve been wondering when those responsible would finally see justice? After all, the entire sham costs tax-payers millions and was a huge distraction while Trump was in office.
It’s no longer speculation that leftists, led by Hillary Clinton and her campaign, hatched the entire fake story and fed it to the FBI. Both politicians and FBI officials then violated numerous laws to see that it became a legitimate investigation.
Now, justice is finally being served. Well, kind of. Just a little bit anyway.
According to The Washington Examiner, the Federal Election Commission has finally fined Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign and the Democratic National Committee for the part they played in the creation of the phony “Steele Dossier,” which, as you recall, served as the basis for the entire sham investigation put on by the Deep State FBI.
Before you get too excited, they’re only being fined a pathetic $8,000 and $105,000 between Clinton’s treasurer and the DNC’s treasurer. That sure doesn’t seem like a punishment that fits the crime especially when you consider they came together to pay $1,024,407.97 to fund the notoriously fake dossier.
The FEC asserts that the DNC violated strict agency rules when they funneled campaign money through the political opposition research firm, Fusion GPS, which commissioned former British intelligence operative Christopher Steele to make up his dossier.
According to the Examiner, the Clinton campaign and the DNC described the money paid to Fusion GPS as “legal services” rather than “political research.” The Clinton campaign spent $849,407.97 while the DNC contributed $175,000.
Of course, both the Clinton campaign and the DNC claim they were correct in filing these payments as “legal advice and services” since the law firm Perkins Coie actually hired Fusion GPS. Neither entity, however, is planning to dispute the finding.
“Solely for the purpose of settling this matter expeditiously and to avoid further legal costs, respondent[s] does not concede, but will not further contest the commission’s finding of probable cause to proceed” the FEC’s memo, which was issued to the Coolidge Reagan Foundation in response to its complaint with the agency, noted.
The memo is expected to be made public next month.
“This may well be the first time that Hillary Clinton — one of the most evidently corrupt politicians in American history — has actually been held legally accountable, and I’m proud to have forced the FEC to do their job for once,” said Dan Backer, who represented the foundation in its complaint.
“The Coolidge Reagan Foundation proved that with pluck and grit, Americans who stand with integrity can stand up to the Clinton machine and other corrupt political elites,” he added.
While it certainly does count as a moral victory, it’s hard to feel like any justice has actually been served.
Backer seems to agree that the measly fines levied by the FEC are hardly enough retribution for the damage the phony Steele Dossier and the entire hoax caused America.
“Hillary Clinton and her cronies willfully engaged in the greatest political fraud in history — destroying our nation’s faith in the electoral process, and it’s high time they were held accountable. I hope this is only the beginning,” he said.
We can only hope.
