(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – According to WND, the watchdog Government Accountability Office has concluded in a recent investigation that officials with the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, along with the Food and Drug Administration “suppressed” important scientific findings that were related to the COVID pandemic because of political pressure.
Several whistleblowers that spoke with GAO investigators stated that they didn’t speak up before the investigation due to fearing retaliation. They went on to say that they were not sure how to report the alleged politicizing of science or believed leaders were already aware of it, according to a report from the Daily Mail.
“The 37-page report (read it here) found that both the CDC and the FDA did not have a system in place for employees to report allegations of political interference. And the agencies, the GAO said, failed to train staff how to spot political interference and report it,” the WND report said.
“A few respondents from CDC and FDA stated they felt that the potential political interference they observed resulted in the alteration or suppression of scientific findings,” the report went on to say.
“Some of these respondents believed that this potential political interference may have resulted in the politically motivated alteration of public health guidance or delayed publication of Covid-related scientific findings,” it continued.
“In February, unnamed CDC officials told the New York Times that the agency had withheld most of its data regarding COVID-19 for fear it would be misinterpreted by critics,” WND stated.
Just last summer, two top FDA scientists actually stepped down from their posts after charges emerged that the agency was being pressured by folks within the Biden administration to make decisions based on politics, rather than on facts.
“The GAO, in a separate report published in February, said the CDC, the FDA, the National Institutes of Health and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response were all at “high risk” for fraud, mismanagement and abuse, citing a “lack of leadership and preparedness” during the COVID pandemic and other crises,” WND stated in its report.
The HHS then went on to say in its response to the report from the GAO, “It is important to differentiate scientifically trained political officials engaging in the legitimate conduct, management, communication and use of science from political officials inappropriately breaching scientific integrity because of political motivations.”
The department then concurred with the “recommendations that [HHS] should ensure that procedures for reporting and addressing potential political interference in scientific decision-making are developed and documented.”
Here we have proof that there were many aspects of the policies being pushed by the CDC and other governmental agencies concerning the COVID pandemic that were done solely for political purposes and not for the health of the American people.
We have been beating the drum on this for a long, long time now. Two years, actually. And people wrote it off as conspiracy thinking and all kinds of nonsense because they have been brainwashed to believe the narrative that comes out of the mainstream media.
Listen, the MSM is nothing more than a propaganda machine for the Democratic Party. We must learn to start questioning the official narratives we’re being fed if we ever want to uncover the truth.
