(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – This has been one heck of a week for political news, all of which is centered on the fact that someone within the Supreme Court has leaked a highly confidential draft opinion that has indicated the high court could potentially be overturning the controversial Roe v. Wade decision that made abortion a legal practice.
However, most of the country may not fully understand or appreciate the fact that there’s actually something much deeper going on than just ending the murder of the unborn.
According to The Western Journal, back in April 2021, Joe Biden put together a commission to look into the idea of expanding or “packing” the Supreme Court. This was a big topic of discussion all over America. One of the members of this commission, Kermit Roosevelt III, penned a piece for Time magazine that was published on Dec. 10, 2021, that, for the most part, has gone unnoticed.
Until now that is.
You don’t even have to get into the body of the article before you run across words that should be sounding alarm bells, as the very title is worthy of concern: “I Spent 7 Months Studying Supreme Court Reform. We Need to Pack the Court Now.”
This particular position that Roosevelt, who reported directly to Joe Biden, can be summarized by taking a look at a few snippets from his piece.
“The most prominent face of this problem [with the Supreme Court] today is abortion. … It will not be surprising if the national majority’s view about Roe v. Wade does not prevail on the Court, even while national polls show strong majorities in support of preserving Roe. … We are witnessing a minority takeover of our democracy. … It is the Republican party attacking democracy, and the Supreme Court is helping it. … The only reform that fixes this problem now is court expansion. That could give us a majority of Justices who would defend democracy against these [Republican] assaults instead of participating in them,” Roosevelt wrote.
“Coincidentally, Biden and his colleagues as well as the legacy media have echoed — in some cases almost verbatim — the premise proposed by key members of Biden’s Supreme Court commission. Their idea is that the conservative-dominated Supreme Court is seeking to override the will of a majority of Americans by overturning Roe v. Wade. Therefore, now the Supreme Court itself is a Republican danger to democracy,” the Western Journal reported.
“What the Democrats have stopped short of saying is the inevitable conclusion presented to Biden by Roosevelt: The only way to ‘fix’ the Supreme Court and to ‘save American democracy” is to pack the court,’” the report continued.
But things actually get even more spooky. Roosevelt goes on to reason that the GOP “takeover of Democracy” is already so extensive that the only way to truly fight back against it for the left is court packing.
According to this man, there is a Republican assault on America that is well underway and the only way the heroes of the left can rescue the country is to use dirty tactics like court packing and transform the Supreme Court into a partisan weapon in the hands of the Democratic Party.
But hey, folks. Don’t worry your pretty little heads, Roosevelt essentially goes on to say, because the intentional annihilation of checks and balances within the Constitution is for the good of the nation.
The current administration, working in partnership with the mainstream media have pulled out all the stops to try and convince Americans what we really think about the act of abortion.
“The claim that has been repeated ad nauseam for the past week is that an overwhelming majority of Americans are strongly supportive of abortion. In fact, a Reuters/Ipsos poll from Tuesday shockingly found that, in addition to 78 percent of Democrats, as many as 49 percent of all Republicans planned to vote for political candidates who strongly support abortion!” the WJ reported.
“In contrast, Gallup polls have found that the pro-abortion and pro-life divide in the U.S. has remained at a relatively steady half-and-half mark for well over a decade,” the report added.
Biden went on to declare, “Roe says what all basic mainstream religions have historically concluded — that the right — that the existence of a human life and being is a question. Is it at the moment of conception? Is it six months? Is it six weeks? Is it quickening, like Aquinas argued?”
As is usually the case, Biden’s memory isn’t holding up very well. You see, Biden claims to be a devout Roman Catholic and the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church concerning abortion is pretty clear. They are pro-life to the core.
Even Biden himself stated back in 2008 that “I’m prepared as a matter of faith to accept that life begins at conception.”
“Now in 2022, the Democratic political machine — including Biden — has declared that since the vast majority of Americans supposedly love abortion and support Roe v. Wade to an obsessive and even radical level, the Supreme Court itself is a danger to democracy. And — right on cue — the Antifa-infested liberal protests have begun,” the Western Journal stated.
From the very beginning of Biden’s term, the idea of packing the Supreme Court has been an option on the table, despite the fact that there are quite a few Democrats in Congress who are weary about employing such an extreme measure.
“It will be much more difficult for cautious or moderate Democrats to oppose the expansion of the Supreme Court if the issue at hand is supposedly Roe v. Wade. Then an ‘ends justify the means’ approach is presented to ensure that conservative justices can’t overturn it,” the report stated.
If the worst case scenario was to happen and the Democrats were able to pack the court, what would that mean? What would happen next? Well, not to put too fine a point on it, but it would essentially mean the end of our rights and our constitutional republic as we know it.
“Corrupt Democrats presently under investigation like Hillary Clinton and Hunter Biden could have effectively infinite options for appellate relief from legal consequences. Malicious prosecutions and legal proceedings against Republicans like former President Donald Trump and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene could be expedited with impunity. And even the most sacred constitutional rights such as free speech and the freedom to bear arms could be arbitrarily suspended by an unelected faux-judiciary extension of the Democratic political machine,” the report added.
Just look at how awful the Democrats have done with control over Congress and the White House. Imagine how much worse things would be if the left had total control over all three branches of government.
It should make you feel sick.
