Surge Summary: YouTube continues censoring pro-life videos – apparently, even if the speaker is a Latino and its Hispanic Heritage Month!

by The Ruth Institute

This week’s interview kicks off National Hispanic Heritage Month with a far-ranging discussion with pro-life activist Astrid Bennett Gutierrez. But checking off the politically-correct boxes of honoring Hispanic Heritage Month and interviewing a wise Latina will not protect us against the censors at YouTube. They have now taken down a total of 4 videos for “Medical Misinformation.”

The latest was our interview with pro-life leader and LifeSiteNews co-founder, John-Henry Westin. I guess John-Henry doesn’t count as a “person of color!”  We got a week-long ban from posting new material, as punishment for giving him a platform.

I beg you: watch and share this week’s video ON OUR RUMBLE PLATFORM. Building up an audience on the alternative platforms is long and laborious work. We need your help!! All our Dr. J Show videos are posted on Rumble. Please, please, watch and share as many of these shows as you can. And BE SURE TO SUBSCRIBE TO OUR RUMBLE CHANNEL!

Now, on to the news:

Astrid Bennett Gutiérrez is the Executive Director of Los Angeles Pregnancy Services, a pro-life pregnancy help center in L.A.’s abortion Ground Zero. She is also the co-founder of The VIDA Initiative, where she serves as a speaker, educating families and forming leaders for the pro-life movement. She is the host of several pro-life programs for EWTN’s Spanish network. She also defends the preborn on national mainstream media outlets such as Fox News and CNN.

“I think all of us in one way or another have been touched by abortion… We carry that wound [until] we realize there is an answer: It’s called the pro-life movement. Once you get involved, it just changes your life.”

“We’re told that being pro-life is judgmental, cruel, and oppressive… When people understand what abortion truly does to an innocent, helpless little child, the cruel torture, and that the child is just discarded or used for experiments, and when they see the love, the care, and all the resources that good people are organizing for pregnant mothers in need, they understand what it means to be pro-life.”
