House Democrats Say They Worry Their Republican Colleagues Could Shoot Up Congress

(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – Democrats not only have the corner market on hypocrisy and total insanity, they apparently also have it when it comes to melodrama as well. This isn’t a total shocker, given how emotionally driven the left tends to be, but the current levels that Democrats in Congress have hit is going far beyond the heights they’ve hit before. In fact, this kind of talk should be evidence that there is a significant bit of mental instability inherent in those who identify as liberals ideologically.

Writer Bronson Winslow of the Daily Caller reported that there are actually a few House Democrats who are worried their GOP colleagues might shoot up Congress after metal detectors were removed from the House of Representatives, they declared to media outlet Raw Story. Folks, this is just plain, outright absurd. Are we going to have to start issuing regular mental evaluations for individuals serving in the House and Senate?

“A lot of my Republican colleagues glorify violence and proudly display the firearms they have in their offices, so it just makes me nervous that we could have a workplace violent event. They’re not the most stable people,” Democratic California Rep. Eric Swalwell, the man who slept with a Chinese spy named Fang Fang, said in an interview conducted this week with Raw Story.

Hey, do you guys remember that time a bunch of Republican Party politicians got shot at during practice for a congressional baseball game, leaving Steve Scalise, a GOP member of the House seriously injured? The shooter was a Democrat. Just some food for thought.

“Metal detectors were first installed in the House of Representatives following the Jan 6. riots, but were removed at the start of 118th Congress. Some Democrats are now worried that their Republican counterparts could engage in gun violence, and have voiced concerns that the removal of the metal detectors could lead to ‘tragedy,’ according to Raw Story,” Winslow wrote.

Sleazy Swalwell believes the decision to remove the metal detectors is a “recipe for disaster.” He’s not the only one with strong feelings about the move. Democrat Michigan Rep. Dan Kildee, referring to Republicans, remarked that it’s a “frightening group of people over there.” Rep. Prmila Jayapal, a Democrat from Washington, was in total agreement with the remarks that it’s “scary” to live in a “QAnon reality.”

“There have been increased threats to members of Congress. There’s been an increase in political violence in this country, and I think we have a responsibility to make sure that people come to work—this is a workplace—that they could do so safely and free from any fear of violence, particularly gun violence,” Democratic Rhode Island Rep. David Cicilline stated in the interview with Raw Story.

“Democratic California Rep. Adam Schiff has ‘concerns’ about removing the metal detectors and hopes the move does not end in ‘tragedy’” as per Raw Story. One Democrat, Virginian Rep. Abigail Spanberger, supported removing the metal detectors, saying it slowed down votes,” Winslow noted in the article.

After former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi first had the metal detectors installed, a few conservative Republicans, you know, those individuals who actually understand their fundamental Second Amendment right to own a firearm, protested against their presence. Louie Gohmert, a Texas Republican, walked around the metal detectors and then informed the Capitol Police that he cannot be stopped when doing so.

“You can’t stop me; I’m on my way to a vote,” he told law enforcement officers.

“The metal detector policy for the House floor is unnecessary, unconstitutional, and endangers members. I did not comply tonight. I will not comply in the future,” GOP Rep. Chip Roy of the great state of Texas commented when the metal detectors were first installed.

It’s absolutely appalling that Democrats have now stooped this low in order to try and paint up conservative colleagues serving in Congress as mentally ill conspiracy theorists and violent mass shooters when that is not even remotely the case. This is narrative creation at its most twisted. They want further division and thus are desperately trying to transform the Republican Party into villains in the story in order to draw more voters to their side of the aisle.
