Surge Summary: Elite Leftist politicians and the Mainstream Media have exaggerated and misrepresented much about the January 6, 2021 protest at America’s capitol. This response has mortally damaged the ability of many an America to trust his/her government and the popular press.

INSURRECTION: a revolt against a government usually by force of arms with intent to overthrow

Americans are a contentious lot. Our history is filled with instances of violent protest.  Jan. 6, 2021 at the Capitol should not have been surprising.

Tensions were high and many hot heads—in and out of government— were itching for a fight. Some federal infiltrators hoped to start a real insurrection, no doubt wanting to cripple Trump. Many protesters walked away believing the government through the Dept. of Justice engineered a setup to derail all who would dare challenge entrenched legislators and bureaucrats.

In this context consider:

>Our Founders were revolutionaries who tried to avoid bloodshed, but the Brits insisted on waging war. Strange, that our federal government behaves like the Brits did in that day.

>The Founders did not spark an insurrection. By declaring independence they hoped to sever ties with the mother country, without bloodshed.

>If Jan. 6 was an insurrection, it was the most poorly planned and badly executed insurrection in history. The MSM to this day, two years later, insists it was an insurrection. Who made the MSM jury, judge and final arbiter? (Obviously Democrats are using Jan. 6 as leverage via false accusations, standard fare.)

>Given the available evidence it appears the protesters were primarily concerned that the presidential election was mismanaged and intentionally rigged. They had every right to protest. When hot heads and provocateurs sparked violence and destruction of property, the protest became an unlawful assembly, not an insurrection.  (Most agree that storming the Capitol was just plain stupid.)

>We often forget that many of the Founders did not quibble about the means of throwing off dictators and traitors as part of the price of freedom. Violence was their last resort but not a cardinal sin.

>The protest lasted four hours. The protesters dispersed themselves for the most part. Hardly an insurrection. The only people killed: two women who were protesting the election.  One was shot by police. The other was beaten by an officer and then she was crushed by the crowd.

>President Trump was impeached but he was not convicted obviously. Polling indicates most voters do not believe he incited violence.  A congressional investigation (stacked with anti-Trump activists) ‘investigated’ for months to affirm what they concluded before the inquiry began, that Trump was criminally responsible.  (A Soviet show trial for sure.)

>The FBI rapidly arrested and charged hundreds of people. Many languished in jail without charges for extended periods, violations of their constitutional rights.  Many convicted citizens are serving hard time for misdemeanors.

>For two years Democrats have tried to characterize Jan. 6 as worse than Pearl Harbor. In his SOTU speech, Biden tried to link Jan. 6 to the assault on Pelosi’s husband.

>The beat goes on. The special prosecutor investigating Trump has called on his former VP Mike Pence, to testify and give evidence, all in hopes of derailing Trump’s presidential ambitions. Weaponization continues. Pence could have sent electoral results back to those states suspected of election manipulation, many experts believed, so as to trigger legitimate scrutiny. Instead, Pence decided such a move would derail the will of the voters, though it is impossible to imagine this outcome when the review was called to insure voters’ confidence.

>We still don’t know why Pelosi declined Trump’s offer of massive National Guard presence to maintain control. Was it all a set up? Judicial Watch is suing to find out.

Partial conclusions:

>Preceding the protest gone haywire, it was unwise for President Trump to deliver a very long and angry speech, one that contributed to the drama. Only far left Trump haters classify his speech as a call to arms. By the way, the protesters were unarmed, another fact contradicting the accusation of insurrection.

>As far as the DOJ/FBI are concerned, free speech is a privilege, not a right, and due process is negotiable, especially if you are a deplorable.

>MSM is obviously in bed with the intelligence community and the Democrat Party, an Elitist Cabal.

>If indeed the 2020 election was riddled with fraud then Elitists’ reaction to the Jan. 6 protesters was certainly an effort to cover up, deflect and distract from the central issue. There is ample evidence supporting the Big Truth vs. the Big Lie perpetrated by the MSM and Democrat co-conspirators.

>When government helps provoke unrest in favor of one political party over another, and when that same government destroys the lives of hundreds of citizens, declaring them guilty in advance of reliable investigations, then The People have every right to demand redress of grievances, according to the Constitution.

>As the authentic House investigation into the Laptop from Hell unfolds, we find credible evidence that FBI/DOJ/DNC collaborators buried the story to save Joe Biden from scrutiny and spare him electoral defeat.

>The liars, frauds and crooks responsible for various streams of corruption have damaged public trust of institutions, perhaps beyond repair, the death knell for any Republic.
