(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – The Democrats have no plans to stop using the Jan. 6 Capitol riot to demonize President Trump and his supporters anytime soon. As a matter of fact, their efforts have been ramped up with the House passing their efforts to create a 9/11-style commission to investigate the events of Jan. 6.
The Democrats are so desperate for Americans to be outraged by what happened on Jan 6 that they’ve been shamefully comparing it to 9/11, when 3,000 innocent American citizens were killed by Islamist terrorists.
On Jan 6., one person died and she was a Trump supporter, despite the media’s insistence that numerous law enforcement officers were brutally murdered. The facts just don’t support their narratives.
On Tuesday night, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) joined Greg Kelly on The Kelly File to discuss the absurdity of the Democrats’ obsession with Jan. 6.
During their discussion, Nunes said it’s ridiculous that the Democrats refuse to release any video footage to Republican lawmakers from that day. However, as publicly available video footage posted to social media accounts indicates, there’s good reason why Democrats are keeping the footage locked down.
It’s not going to show a violent riot. It’s not going to show armed insurrectionists. It doesn’t support their wild narrative that Trump supporters were incited by President Trump to storm the Capitol and violently take over the US government.

While speaking to Kelly, Nunes said he wants to know “how many people actually carried a hammer, broke windows, or aided and abetted those people that destroyed federal property?”
He also asked Democrats, “Why won’t you show us the videotapes?” adding that “Republicans have yet to see the videotapes of what happened on January 6. Why are they not showing us the videotapes and why don’t we know who broke the windows and damaged public property?”
He continued on saying that he is in favor of those who broke windows and vandalized federal property being punished and going to jail however the majority of people sitting in jail don’t belong there and really didn’t commit any crimes.
He further contended that there are many people sitting in jail who “are having their due process rights violated. I talked to a lot of people who said, ‘Hey, we didn’t even know we couldn’t be in the Capitol.’”
Meanwhile, how many arrests have been made in connection with violent and destructive Antifa and Black Lives Matter riots that caused in excess of $2 billion in damages across the US and resulted in countless injuries to hundreds of law enforcement officers?
The double standards are truly remarkable but the Democrats’ zealous attempts to put the Jan. 6 incident on the same level as 9/11 is truly offensive and astounding. Especially so because they are pushing lies and disinformation to paint an inaccurate, untrue and inflammatory picture that contradicts what really happened.
Democrats should be ashamed but you can rest assured, they aren’t.
