(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – The year 2020 saw the most violent unrest and rioting America has ever seen. In the name of “equality” and ending “systemic racism,” supposedly peaceful protestors took the streets to “fight” for their causes.
Unfortunately, Antifa and Black Lives Matter activists used this guise of “peaceful protesting” to engage in violent rioting that took lives, ruined local businesses and resulted in cities being burnt to the ground.
Property damages as a result of these riots is estimated to be $2 billion or more in insurance claims.
What has been done to bring those responsible for this destruction and chaos to justice? Nearly nothing.
As Senator Ron Johnson pointed out in a letter he sent to Attorney General Merrick Garland on Thursday, the vigilantes who engaged in the violence and riots “benefit from infrequent prosecutions and minimal, if any, penalties.”
He cited special arrangements enjoyed by these offenders known as deferred resolution agreements. This course of action “will leave the defendants with a clean criminal record if they stay out of trouble for a period of time and complete a modest amount of community service.”
Meanwhile, those involved with the supposed violent and armed insurrection attempt at the Capitol on Jan. 6 have been being hunted down by the FBI and prosecuted on the most criminal charges possible without any special accommodations whatsoever.
As a matter of fact, there are individuals still sitting in jails right now who are guilty of nothing more than being present at the Capitol that day.
Senator Johnson joined Mark Levin on his show Life, Liberty and Levin Sunday night to discuss this unconstitutional political persecution and imprisonment of Jan. 6 protesters.
According to Senator Johnson, while he and his staff have been watching the more than 14,000 hours of Capitol footage, they have concluded more than a third of the protesters who entered the US Capitol at the West Terrace doorway did so after being waved in by Capitol Police.
“We counted up to 309 individuals entering that door. Five police officers met them. There was no violence that we could tell. That is how about 38% of the approximately 800 people entered the Capitol,” Johnson explained.
“No confrontation. They just walked in the door.”
He pointed out that the supposed violent insurrection didn’t look anything like a riot or insurrection at all. He noted that those inside the Capitol “were staying within the rope lines in the rotunda,” and added, “that’s not what an armed insurrection would look like.”
He’s certainly right. An armed insurrection would most definitely be a lot more violent and chaotic and there would actually have been arms.
The coverage surrounding the Jan. 6 incident has been covered with nonstop media bias that only supports the Democrats’ false narrative about what really happened on that day.
The Democrats have been using the incident to unfairly and unconstitutionally demonize and criminalize President Trump and his supporters.
Johnson and Levin discussed the toxic media bias that’s been destroying America for years.
Johnson slammed the media for suppressing information on life-saving drugs like hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. He pointed out that had the media been responsible in their reporting, “tens of thousands of American lives might have been saved” during the COVID “crisis.”
Johnson asserted, the “media bias has cost Americans their lives.”
