Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s Election Fraud Unit Makes Huge Arrest Related To Several Counts Of Election Fraud

(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – There’s a lot of things that bug liberals, a fact of life that has no doubt been made clear by the abundance of news stories containing every little jot and tiddle that makes folks on the left melt like delicate little snowflakes.

However, what’s likely getting under their skin right now is the fact that they have not yet managed to flip Texas from red to blue. That’s right, Mr. Liberal, the Lone Star State is truly red-blooded American conservative. And this shows in the way they treat criminals and lawbreakers.

Unlike many liberal run states, Texas actually prosecutes those who break the law.

According to a new report by Gateway Pundit, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced over the weekend that there are still 500 election fraud cases that need to be heard in a court of law. This announcement comes fresh off Gov. Greg Abbott stating there would be a new election integrity bill in the state along with bail reform.

“Texas Attorney Gen. Ken Paxton has announced that more than 500 election fraud cases are currently waiting to be heard in court. Over the weekend, Paxton relayed on Twitter that his team will prosecute every instance of voter fraud,” OAN reports.

“This comes after he shared information about a woman being arrested for multiple counts of election fraud in a 2018 local election. Monica Mendez was convicted on seven counts of illegal voting, eight counts of unlawfully assisting a voter, eight counts of unlawful possession of ballots and eight counts of election fraud,” the report says, adding “In response to the case, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) said his team plans to pursue laws for more secure elections.”

Unlike many folks around the country who are in positions of power, Paxton has actually been extremely supportive of the issue of election integrity. Just last week the attorney general announced that the state’s election fraud unit had made an arrest due to several counts of election fraud.

“The Election Fraud Unit arrested and booked Monica Mendez into the Victoria County Jail on June 23, 2021, after a Victoria County Grand Jury returned an indictment against her on multiple counts of election fraud: 7 counts of Illegal Voting (a 2nd Degree Felony), 8 counts of Unlawfully Assisting Voter Voting Ballot by Mail (a 3rd Degree Felony), 8 counts of Unlawful Possession of Ballot (a State Jail Felony), and 8 counts of Election Fraud (a State Jail Felony),” a statement from the Texas Attorney General’s Office read.

“The Texas Secretary of State referred the case to the Office of the Attorney General after allegations of illegal voting and other election code violations arose out of the 2018 Bloomington Water District Election,” the statement continued.

Paxton isn’t the only one in the Lone Star State who cares about election integrity. A report from back in November of last year that was published by GP said that Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick was offering up a $1 million reward for any evidence of actual voter fraud in the state.

“I support President Trump’s efforts to identify voter fraud in the presidential election and his commitment to making sure that every legal vote is counted and every illegal vote is disqualified,” Patrick went on to say.

Patrick stated that whistleblowers and tipsters were to turn over any evidence of fraud they had to local law enforcement. Anyone who provided this kind of information leading to an arrest and conviction would receive a minimum payment of $25,000.
