Texas Gov. Abbott Vows To Arrest Democrats Who Fled The State In Order To Block Voting Legislation

(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is not playing around when it comes to dealing with the House Democrats who fled the state to fly out to Washington, D.C., in order to try blocking GOP-backed voting reform bills from being passed.

In fact, according to Infowars, Abbott is promising to arrest these individuals.

“As soon as they come back in the state of Texas, they will be arrested, they will be cabined inside the Texas Capitol until they get their job done,” Abbott stated during a conversation with KVUE on Tuesday.

“If they do not return to work, they risk losing their jobs as state representatives for not showing up,” Abbott added.

Abbott then went on to say that he’ll “continue to call special session after special session” until it’s time for the 2022 midterm election in order to give the Democrats a little extra shove when it comes to getting their jobs done.

“So if these people want to be hanging out wherever they’re hanging out on this taxpayer-paid junket, they’re going to have to be prepared to do it for well over a year,” he continued.

Not long after, the House established that it lacked the two-thirds quorum that is required by law to conduct business, with only 80 out of the 150 members there to participate.

The Texas House then voted 76-4 to regain quorum by authorizing the Sergeant-of-Arms to arrest any of the Democrats who high-tailed to Washington.

“Meanwhile, the more than 50 House Democrats made absolute fools of themselves during their stunt to leave Texas on Monday, photographed with a case of beer and no masks on their privately-chartered flight paid for by the taxpayer,” the Infowars report said.

Once the Democrats landed in our nation’s capital, it seems they didn’t have a whole lot to do so they decided to sing a civil rights hymn known as “We Shall Overcome” in front of the liberal mainstream media which just eats that sort of nonsense up.

“The major voting bills in question, House Bill 3 and Senate Bill 1, would ban drive-thru voting, add new voter ID requirements to absentee ballots and prohibit local elections officials from proactively sending mail-in ballot applications to voters, all measures that would limit the possibility of fraud,” the report explained.

And, of course, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are planning to host these Texas Democrats at some kind of summit in Washington, thus lending their seal of approval over their choice to violate the law and shirk their duties to their constituents.

And Democrats wonder why they are quickly becoming the most despised politicians on the planet? Really? Are these people really that dense?

It appears so.

If we value our democratic republic, then we absolutely need voting reform immediately. We must not allow the Democrats any future opportunities to put together large voter fraud schemes to steal elections. Our elections must be fair and free.

Thus, we need to keep these Democrats at home, doing their jobs to serve the people.
