A total of 74 people on Martha’s Vineyard have tested positive for Covid- 19 since former President Barack Obama’s 60th superspreader birthday extravaganza last Saturday, more than any week since April.

If you haven’t gotten the memo yet, a superspreader event can only be acknowledged by the media when the event is held by Trump supporters. Superspreader events held by Biden supporters and all Democrats will never be figured into the tabulation. Just like anyone who dies of anything while also having COVID is counted as a COVID only death.

Barack Obama had a blast last weekend, so much maskless fun that the photos were instantly removed from Twitter in order to protect the narrative. But what is really the narrative in all this confusion and pandemic? It would seem to be ‘rules for thee, but not for me’. Remember ‘my body, my choice!’? That’s now become ‘get vaxxed, you have no right to say no’.

Let me ask you this question. Throughout this entire pandemic, Democrats of every stripe have assumed the moral high ground. Everything they said and did was the right thing, and everything the Republicans said and did the wrong thing. Joe Biden has absolutely continued this false narrative since taking office. So why did Barack Obama, someone who always considers himself the ‘smartest one in the room’, absolutely and publicly flout all existing COVID regulations put in place by the Democrat-controlled White House? This would have been the perfect showcase to show all of us mere peasants the proper way to act in a crisis, and Obama didn’t do anything close to that. Obama threw a wild, crazy, maskless, superspreader birthday bash just like a…Trump supporter. Can anyone tell me why?

Obama followed up his party with a brunch Sunday at Beach Road restaurant, dining under a specially-erected marquee beside the water in Vineyard Haven.

Hundreds of people attended the former President’s 60th birthday party at the Obama mansion on Martha’s Vineyard, including a swarm of A-list celebrities. The guest list included Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Tom Hanks, H.E.R., John Legend, and Alicia Keys. Martha’s Vineyard was already experiencing a new surge in cases when Obama, preparing to welcome 500 guests to his mansion, announced his party would be ‘scaled back’ amid criticism as the Delta coronavirus variant spread across the country.

In the week leading up to his party, 48 new cases were reported on the island through Saturday, double the prior week. The number of cases has risen every day since then, with six Sunday, seven Monday, 10 Tuesday, 13 Wednesday, 18 Thursday and 20 Friday. But despite the ex-president’s insistence that he had disinvited everyone but his family and close friends, 300 to 400 people showed up to his party, everyone from Jay Z and Beyonce to Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, a staffer working the event told DailyMail.com.
