(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley has proven to be quite the traitor. After Jan. 6 he really ramped up the radical left’s anti-American rhetoric with his bizarre testimony before Congress in which he rambled about “white rage” and criticized conservatives.
Now it appears he may have actually committed treason. A new book by Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Robert Costa alleges that Gen. Milley promised China’s military that he would alert Beijing in the event that President Trump decided to initiate a military strike against the communist nation.
That hardly seems like the American thing to do.
According to excerpts from the book “Peril,” Milley had allegedly held two secret phone calls with Gen. Li Zuocheng of the People’s Liberation Army just four days before the November 3 election and two days after the Jan. 6 incident.
On the Oct. 30 phone call, Milley spoke with Li about the growing tensions over military exercises in the South China Sea and Trump’s tough stance toward Beijing. The phone call was prompted by a US intelligence review which concluded that the CCP suspected that the US was preparing a military strike against them.
“General Li, I want to assure you that the American government is stable and everything is going to be OK,” Milley allegedly told the PLA general. “We are not going to attack or conduct any kinetic operations against you.”

Li is a major figure in China. He’s the chief of the Joint Staff Department of the Central Military Commission which is generally regarded as China’s top military policy-making body.
President Trump has not taken kindly to the allegations made in the upcoming book. On Tuesday, Trump responded, calling Milley’s behavior treasonous.
“So first of all, if it is actually true, which is hard to believe that he would have called China, and done these things, and was willing to advise them of an attack or in advance of an attack, that’s treason!” Trump told Newsmax. “And I would think, I’ve had so many calls today saying that’s treason.”

Trump is getting support from unlikely sources. You probably remember retired lieutenant colonel Alexander Vindman who testified against President Trump during the first sham impeachment trial. Vindman, as slimy as he is, called on Milley to resign.
In a Twitter post, Vindman said, “He usurped civilian authority, broke Chain of Command, and violated the sacrosanct principle of civilian control over the military.”
“It’s an extremely dangerous precedent. You can’t simply walk away from that.”

The calls for Milley to resign were echoed by many, including Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) who contended that if the allegations are true Milley “has proven, yet again, that he is unfit to serve and is treading dangerous ground.”
Milley has already been in hot water with lawmakers for his botched handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal but not everyone is convinced that the account given in the book is true.
Former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell took to Twitter, saying, “Bob Woodward has become the Michael Wolff of Washington, D.C.,” adding, “It’s hard to believe anything the two of them write.”
Grenell said Trump “isn’t a war starter, and I don’t believe Milley thought [Trump] was.”
One thing is for sure, Milley is just another pawn of the radical left and he is a danger to this country. Whether or not the book is true, Milley has got to go.
