BREAKING: White House Warns Art Market Vulnerable To Money Laundering… As Hunter’s Works Sell For Half A Million Dollars

(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – Hunter Biden truly is a jack of all trades and even perhaps a master of them all too. He was paid millions of dollars to sit on a board of an energy company in Ukraine, he was paid similarly in China to act as private equity guru and now he’s getting paid $500,000 for his junk art.

For reference, that’s close to or the same as what paintings by Claude Monet and Edgar Degas go for. Clearly, Hunter Biden is just that talented, well-known and accomplished in the art industry.

Except he isn’t. Just like he has absolutely no experience in the energy industry or banking equity. He’s a fraud all around, riding the coat-tails of his father.

All of this makes a report this month out of the White House all that more entertaining. The report on “countering corruption” admits that artwork sales could be used in “money laundering, terrorism finance, and other illicit financial dealings through the trade in works of art.”

Money laundering is a technique used to cover-up illegal financial dealings. It’s no wonder Hunter Biden has all of a sudden become an artist.

It’s really interesting that now the White House is concerned about shady art deals when Hunter Biden has, earlier this year, been accused of partaking in just that.

“The markets for art and antiquities—and the market participants who facilitate transactions—are especially vulnerable to a range of financial crimes,” the report states on page 24 (screen shot here).

“Built-in opacity, lack of stable and predictable pricing, and inherent cross-border transportability of goods sold, make the market optimal for illicit value transfer, sanctions evasion, and corruption.”

Hunter Biden’s art dealings raised eyebrows earlier this year as purchasers have remained anonymous. Nothing says shady and corrupt quite like keeping the identity of those purchasing art a secret. Especially when they’re paying prices in line with some of the most well-known artists in the world.

The White House report caught the attention of former President Barack Obama’s ethics chief Walter Shaub, who has been vocal about urging the Biden regime to stop the sale of Hunter Biden art due to its lack of transparency.

“The White House just issued a report flagging that money laundering is a problem in the… wait for it… art sale industry,” Shaub tweeted Monday.

“Hunter Biden should cancel this art sale because he knows the prices are based on his dad’s job,” Shaub also tweeted in July. “Shame on POTUS if he doesn’t ask Hunter to stop.”

Then, in October, he blasted White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki when she dismissed questions regarding the sale of five of Hunter’s first prints, which sold for $75,000 a piece.

“These are legitimate questions,” Shaub said. “It’s disappointing to hear [Psaki] send a message that the WH thinks the public has no right to ask about ethics. After the last 4 years, these questions have never been more important. I know this isn’t a popular opinion, but this stuff matters.”

Typical leftist chicanery.
