(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – Not only did President Trump draw a massive crowd on Saturday in Wellington, Ohio, for his much anticipated return to the political stage but he was an absolute ratings smash for Newsmax, who was the only major news network to carry footage from the rally.
Newsmax obliterated Fox News in key ratings. According to Nielsen, 1.9 million cable viewers tuned into Newsmax to watch the networks’ coverage of President Trump on Saturday.
Newsmax estimates another 1.3 million viewers watched through free streaming devices, bringing the total number of viewers somewhere in the ballpark of 3 million.
Newsmax ratings success is even more impressive when you consider that Newsmax is carried in around 30 million less US cable homes than Fox.
According to a report by Newsmax, “in a key demo of 35-64, Newsmax had cable impressions per minute of 483,000 viewers, compared to Fox’s 409,000.”
This only goes to prove that Trump is still king!
Overall, Fox was able to squeak out a small win in total impressions, 1.53 million to Newsmax’s 1.4 million, despite having a much larger reach than Newsmax.
Of course, Newsmax totally trounced CNN and MSNBC with more than double CNN’s impressions and triple MSNBC’s during the same time period.
Ouch.

The Nielsen Coverage Rating indicates from 8 p.m. EST — when Trump’s speech started until its end at 9:30 p.m. — Newsmax had a household Coverage Rating of 2.01, while Fox drew just 1.60 during the same time period.

The Coverage Rating for total viewership had Newsmax at 1.13, almost doubling Fox’s number at .79 — meaning in households that carried both channels, Newsmax was beating Fox significantly.
Newsmax won on Saturday because of one reason and one reason alone and that reason was President Trump.
Not only did Trump help Newsmax smash competitors’ ratings but he drew a massive crowd in Ohio proving that he is still very much relevant and loved within the GOP. It also proves that the MAGA movement is still very much alive and well despite the focus now shifting from “Making America Great Again” to “Saving America.”
One Gateway Pundit reader sent the outlet video of the rally and said that a local sheriff told him that they estimated around 35,000 to 40,000 people had showed up for the rally.
He added that the sheriff said there were over 18,000 cars in the parking lot. The Gateway Pundit reader also said it took him an hour and a half to get out of the parking lot after the rally concluded.

The American people still love President Trump and trust him to fight for them. This rally was proof that Americans are still looking to Trump as our leader and that we believe it will only be with him at the helm that America is saved.
While we wait on the results of the Arizona audit to be made public, it’s good to see President Trump back in action and reminding Americans that America is, indeed, worth fighting for.
