(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats’ sham investigation into the Jan. 6 Capitol “riot” is still moving forward and we all know the only purpose of the biased committee she has formed is to continue demonizing President Trump and his supporters and push their false narrative.
House Rep. Jim Banks is one of the Republicans selected by House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy to serve on the committee. Naturally, Pelosi rejected Banks’ selection, along with Rep. Jim Jordan.
It was painfully obvious that Pelosi only wants people on the committee who hate Trump as much as she does or, at the very least, are willing to go along with her lies.
She naturally attempted to play it off as though she rejected the two because of concerns over the investigation’s “integrity.”
“With respect for the integrity of the investigation, with an insistence on the truth and with concern about statements made and actions taken by these Members, I must reject the recommendations of Representatives Banks and Jordan to the Select Committee,” Pelosi said about her decision.
Rep. Banks, however, has pointed out exactly why Pelosi rejected him and Jordan. During an appearance on Fox News Sunday, Banks discussed Pelosi’s role as Speaker of the House, pointing out that she is ultimately responsible for the security breakdown that happened at the Capitol on Jan. 6.
Banks said, “Due to the rules of the United States Capitol, the power structure of the Capitol, Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House, has more control and authority and responsibility over the leadership of the Capitol Police than anyone else in the United States Capitol.”
Pelosi only wants members on the Jan 6 committee who will read her talking points.

“So she doesn’t want us to ask these questions because at the end of the day, she is ultimately responsible for the breakdown of security at the capitol that happened on January 6,” he said.
Banks has previously stated that Pelosi rejected him and Jordan because she “doesn’t want to talk about what happened at the Capitol that day” and is “only interested in the narrative.”
That would certainly appear to be the case, especially in light of her most recent appointment to her sham committee.
On Sunday, Pelosi selected Trump-hater and RINO Rep. Adam Kinzinger to join her Jan. 6 committee. Naturally, Kinzinger wouldn’t turn down the opportunity.
“Today, I was asked by the Speaker to serve on the House Select Committee to Investigate January 6th and I humbly accepted,” Kinzinger said in a July 25 statement. “I will work diligently to ensure we get to the truth and hold those responsible for the attack fully accountable.”
Earlier on Sunday, Pelosi claimed that Kinzinger would bring “patriotism to the Committee’s mission” because of his military background.
What a complete charade. Pelosi and her committee aren’t fooling anyone. We know exactly what’s going on here and they can continue to push these lies on the American people but we aren’t buying them.
