Those opposing this drift must stand together and challenge it. by The Ruth Institute The Ruth Institute’s Fourth Annual Survivors’ Summit theme is “Reclaiming the Professions for Life and Family.” The Summit, July 16-17 in Lake Charles, LA, will provide training to counter the corruption of professions involved with the health and education of youth. Ruth Institute President Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, Ph.D., explained: “Once-respected professions have become megaphones for the Sexual Revolution. When it comes to issues like transgenderism, their positions are based on ideology, not science.” Morse will give the opening address on “Confronting the Corruption of the Professions.” The day-long conference will include: Reclaiming the Therapeutic Professions with Fr. Paul Sullins on “Correcting the Data,” and Laura Haynes of the International Federation for Therapeutic and Counseling Choice. Resisting the Corruption of Education by Sharon Slater of Family Watch International, followed by a panel on Legal Strategies for Reclaiming Education. A Panel of Medical Professionals including Dr. Michael Parker of the Catholic Medical Association and Dr. Donna Harrison, Executive Director of the American Association of Pro-Life Ob-Gyns. Defending the Body with Erin Brewer of Partners for Ethical Care and Fr. Sebastian Walshe of Catholic Answers. Equipping the Pro-Life Movement to Confront Trans-minded Clients, with a therapist on trans-psychology and an attorney on the trans suicide issue. Surviving the Sexual Revolution, a panel including Maritza Cummings, a “desister,” who transitioned from female to male, and then transitioned back. The Summit will also include a day-long, application-only Ambassador’s Training Program for members of the pro-life and pro-family movements, and an Awards Banquet with guest speaker Rev. Walter Hoye, Founder and President of both the Issues4Life Foundation and the California Civil Rights Foundation. “I’m very proud of the team we have assembled for this year’s Summit for Survivors of the Sexual Revolution,” Morse said. “The Sexual Revolutionaries count on people being isolated in their own fields, but the problems are common across many professions. Doctors, therapists, educators and attorneys who are distraught over the direction their professions are headed, should plan to be in Lake Charles, Louisiana, July 16-17.
