(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – A scientist has finally come forward and admitted that the scientific community refused to consider the idea of the coronavirus being man-made in a lab located in Wuhan last year due to fears of political association with President Donald Trump and “racists.”
According to Infowars, a postdoctoral researcher with the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, Alina Chan, acknowledged that there was significant political reluctance in the scientific community to support the lab leak theory.
“At the time, it was scarier to be associated with Trump and to become a tool for racists, so people didn’t want to publicly call for an investigation into lab origins,” Chan, who is issuing a call for an investigation to be conducted to find out whether Covid leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China, told NBC.
Despite massive pushback from the mainstream media and even members of his own administration, former President Donald Trump suggested early in the COVID pandemic last year that he had sufficient reason to believe that the illness originated in a Chinese lab.
Due to Trump’s claims and the fact the liberal mainstream media hated his guts, the issue of where the coronavirus came from became a hot topic and a very divisive theory.
Now that he’s been booted from the White House, the theory is back on the table for consideration. How convenient, right?
In a response to criticism on Twitter, Chan, who just last month called out for an investigation to be done concerning the lab leak theory with 17 other scientists, says that she’s been ridiculed by her friends for even suggesting the theory.
Getting angry tweets from Trump supporters since yesterday about a quote in @NBCNews @denisechow
Best to clarify before it escalates:
I publicly raised the lab leak hypothesis in Mar 2020 and have been pushing for an investigation for more than a year.https://t.co/6sSbidFawu

To the folks tweeting at me about how despicable or cowardly it is for scientists to have sat on their doubts that the virus might’ve come from a lab:
1. You’re writing to the wrong person.
2. It’s normal to be afraid to wade into a politically toxic situation.

I’ve spent 1+ year pushing back against the immediate reaction of lab leak=conspiracy – working on sci comm to explain that a lab leak is not only possible but plausible.
I’ve endured endless jibes about me seeking attention, being unqualified, spreading misinformation.

I entered a very dark place – ironic because I was talking to @undarkmag – I’d been targeted by Chinese state media and it honestly felt like no one was going to do anything to get a credible investigation into #OriginsOfCovid going.https://t.co/9RtsFMqeBE

Donald Trump Jr. later on took to Twitter to point out how the science of these issues is controlled by the direction the media wants to steer the narrative.
Because real Scientists/Science itself is easily manipulated by a media narrative. These clowns should be ashamed of themselves and the damage they’ve allowed to happen.
If this is our scientific/medical community maybe it’s them and not Climate Change that’s our biggest threat! https://t.co/SnMCOTc5VO— Donald Trump Jr. (@DonaldJTrumpJr) June 17, 2021
And it seems the mainstream media aren’t the only liars who helped to dissuade American people from thinking the virus was man-made. In fact, many top virologists have come out and stated they lied about the Wuhan lab leak theory for months simply to avoid association with former President Donald Trump. We the people deserved to know from the very beginning.
There were 17 other scientists who also admitted to try to cover up the virus’s origin.
“Chan was one of 18 scientists who published a letter in the journal Science last month calling for a more in-depth investigation into the virus’s origin that takes into account theories about both natural occurrence and laboratory spillovers. The letter helped kick-start a new round of calls to investigate the ‘lab leak hypothesis,’ including demands from President Joe Biden and several leading scientists,” GP said in a recent report.
“Chan said there had been trepidation among some scientists about publicly discussing the lab leak hypothesis for fear that their words could be misconstrued or used to support racist rhetoric about how the coronavirus emerged. Trump fueled accusations that the Wuhan Institute of Virology, a research lab in the city where the first Covid-19 cases were reported, was connected to the outbreak, and on numerous occasions he called the pathogen the ‘Wuhan virus’ or ‘kung flu,’” it reported.
The bottom line here is that President Donald Trump called this situation months ago, but due to the fact that folks were buying into the narrative sold to them by the mainstream media. This is the fruit of the labors put out by the MSM.
