As Ukraine President Zelensky And His Wife Grace The Cover Of Vogue Magazine Like Rock Stars, People Are Asking Who’s Running The War With Russia?

Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky and his wife, Olena Zelenska, have just now graced the cover of Vogue, something many feel has crossed the line into vanity territory amid the ongoing war.

Well, have we reached the point where we are ready to call this a phony war yet? I have studied a lot of the wars of the 20th century, and can’t recall the last time people could so easily come and go in the war zone. Or rock concerts in the subway system, or hosts of celebrity appearances by the man who supposed to be hard at work crafting a plan to ‘beat the Russians!!’. What I see is a nearly unlimited pile of money flowing into Ukraine, financing the A-List travel plans of the Ukraine president. Now him and his wife are on the cover of Vogue like all the other Hollywood celebrities.

“A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.” Ecclesiastes 3:8 (KJB)

After about the first or second week of the war between Russia and Ukraine, it started to look like things were not as they seemed to be. Russia fighting with conscripts instead of soldiers, Ukraine begging for, and receiving, tens of billions of dollars in funds and weapons. So much so that people began to wonder if perhaps some of that cash was flowing back into the United States and into the pockets of the Democratic party. But that’s all speculation, I’m sure. In the meantime, Zelensky prances around like a celebrity, asking for and receiving the red carpet treatment. Anyone remember when Hunter Biden worked for Ukrainian energy company Burisma? Like I said, one of the strangest wars I’ve ever seen, almost seems staged. (My comments are dripping with sarcasm in case you haven’t noticed.)

Ukrainian President Zelensky And Wife Raise Objections Over Vogue Cover Photoshoot

FROM TMZ: The presidential couple is featured in a digital edition of the mag that’s all about Olena and her role in the conflict with Russia — it’s titled, “Portrait of Bravery: Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska” with photography by Annie Leibovitz. It’s a full-blown profile of her … as well as her husband, the Ukrainian Prez.

Of course, there are also a fair amount of photos of each of them throughout — including single shots of Olena, and ones where they’re together … holding hands and/or posing throughout what seems to be the Mariinsky Palace in Kyiv.

A lot of hard issues are addressed in the story, no doubt, and ya gotta figure the intention is to bring more awareness to the cause. All the same, the fact the Zelenskys signed up for this in the first place is getting backlash — with folks saying this comes across as tone-deaf.

Also, the fact that a famed celebrity photog shot them for Vogue here isn’t lost on the masses either. AL has captured the most famous faces on camera, bar none.

From a basic optics stance, there’s an argument this isn’t a good look … especially to Ukrainian soldiers in the field who are putting their lives on the line. Others are criticizing it for political reasons it seems … in any case, it’s getting a collective side-eye on Twitter. READ MORE

Is The War In Ukraine Being Faked?

Now The End Begins is your front line defense against the rising tide of darkness in the last Days before the Rapture of the Church

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. Even all the way to South Africa. We even restarted our weekly radio Bible study on Sunday nights again, thanks to your generous donations. All this is possible because YOU pray for us, YOU support us, and YOU give so we can continue growing.

But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. If every one of the 15,860+ people on our daily mailing list gave $4.50, we would reach our goal immediately. If every one of our 150,000+ followers on Facebook gave $1.00 each, we would reach 300% of our goal. The same goes for our 15,900 followers on Twitter. But sadly, many will not give, so we need the ones who can and who will give to be generous. As generous as possible.
