The Biblical Case For The Preservation Of God’s Word And The Supremacy Of The King James Bible Will Make A Believer Out Of You

There are some simple but very powerful truths God has preserved in scripture that leads you to see why we say the King James Bible is God’s perfect word, to the exclusion of all others.

Today I want to share a little something from my morning Bible reading that, whether you’re a new believer or an ‘old dog’, will help to increase your faith in the Bible. God’s word shows us a number of things about God’s nature and character that seem to be unchanging in either Testament, and consistent throughout all dispensations. God is pure, holy and righteous, His spirit is a purifying force, and that He likes to do things in sevens to make thing complete. There are seven whole note on the musical scale, seven days of the week, seven years for the time of Jacob’s trouble, seven men of honest report, seven days to bring down the walls at Jericho, Paul wrote to seven churches, John wrote to seven churches, Revelation shows us seven seals, seven trumpets, seven bowls, seven vials, seven angels, and a few hundred more examples besides all these. Very simple truths, and when you apply them to the preservation of the Bible, it shows you some astounding things.

For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.” 2 Corinthians 2:17 (KJB)

The Bible shows us God’s unending promise to preserve His word, not His “message”, but His words in every generation as a witness. In our day, the conceit is that it doesn’t matter what Bible version you use because the “message is the same”, but that doesn’t work because that’s not the promise. The promise is to preserve the words, huge difference don’t you think? I sure do. Here’s a “fun fact”, there is only one thing all Bibles have in common, and that’s they are all different. So even if you want to remain neutral in the Bible wars for “which version?!?”, you can’t, you are forced to pick one because they are all different.

The words of the LORD are pure wordsas silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.” Psalm 12:6, 7 (KJB)

Psalm 12 compares God’s word to silver as it is purified in a raging, hot furnace, purified seven times, at which point it is considered sufficiently pure and complete. Not only that, the same psalm then says that after it has been purified seven times, it shall be preserved from that 7th generation forever. It’s probably just an amazing coincidence, but, the Bible has undergone 7 main iterations and they are as follows:

  1. The Aramaic Received Text: 603 – 515 BC
  2. The Hebrew Received Text: 1780 – 400 BC
  3. The Greek Received Text: 35 – 96 AD
  4. The Syriac Received Text: 120 – 180 AD
  5. The Latin Received Text: 140 – 500 AD
  6. The German Received Text: 1520 – 1600 AD
  7. The English Received Text: 1525 – 1611 AD

As Bible believers, we follow the path of the Textus Receptus, discounting and disregarding anything produced by Origin in Alexandria, the mythological Septuagint, or anything found in Sinaiticus, Vaticanus and the Roman Catholic Church, they are all “non-starters” as they represent the opposition. Please see Isaiah 14:12-15 and Ezekiel 28:12-17 and Deuteronomy 32:31-33 for more on that subject.

Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?” Ecclesiastes 8:4 (KJB)

So we see 7 languages that lead you squarely to the last global language, English, with the greatest example of that translated under the authority of a king. The Great Bible, the Bishop’s Bible and the Geneva Bible are all wonderful translations, and they form the foundational basis for the King James Bible in which we find errorless perfection. The King James Bible reigned supreme from 1611, without a serious competitor, until the year 1881 with the Revised Version (RV), followed shortly by the American Standard Version (ASV) in 1901. With the publication of these two “bibles”, the Laodicean Church Age officially began, and every “bible” printed since then is worse than the one before it.

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” John 17:17 (KJB)

Is it possible to make a better translation of the word of God than the King James Bible? Sure it is, but let me ask you this, why haven’t they done it? Why can’t they do it? The certainly didn’t do it with the NIV, which erases the deity and blood of Jesus Christ. They absolutely didn’t do it with the ESV, which tells you that the wicked prosper, and downgrades Jesus from the Messiah to a generic ‘anointed one’. Lucifer was an anointed one, but certainly not the Messiah. How about The Message, Cepher, or any one of over 250 different attempts? All misses, every single one of them. Why is that, haven’t you ever asked yourself why they can’t do it?

“For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.” Psalm 119:89 (KJB)

So we submit to you, take it or leave it as your heart leads you, that the King James Bible is that 7-times purified Bible, and has been the preserved word of God since ‘that generation’ that birthed it. The King James Bibles is the best-selling and most-reproduced Book of all time, nothing even in a close second. It was the Bible that America was founded on. The King James Bible was the Bible of the greatest period of revival in human history, providing the foundation for giants like George Whitefield, DL Moody, Charles Spurgeon, Billy Sunday and countless others. Before Billy Graham switched sides, he was a King James Bible man until he wasn’t. Seems like he lost his power when he left the King James Bible. I have never not been King James only, and after 31 years of reading it, studying it and believing it, I am more King James only now than when I started. The main thing that I can do with my King James Bible, that you cannot do with your NIV, ESV, RV, ASV etcetera and so on, is defend it as the perfect, error-free word of God. Now that’s power. Do you have the word of a King?

Now The End Begins is your front line defense against the rising tide of darkness in the last Days before the Rapture of the Church

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this ministry. When people who cannot afford them ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. Even all the way to South Africa. We even restarted our weekly radio Bible study on Sunday nights again, thanks to your generous donations. All this is possible because YOU pray for us, YOU support us, and YOU give so we can continue growing.

But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. The Lord has given us an open door with a tremendous ‘course’ for us to fulfill that will create an excellent experience at the Judgement Seat of Christ. Please pray for our efforts, and if the Lord leads you to donate, be as generous as possible. The war is REAL, the battle HOT and the time is SHORTTO THE FIGHT!!!

“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” Titus 2:13 (KJB)
