By Faith, Our ‘Bibles Behind Bars’ Program Has Now Sent 1,100 Spanish King James Bibles To The Immigrants At The South Texas ICE Processing Center

This week by faith, we sent 1,100 Spanish King James Bibles to the detainees held in the South Texas ICE Processing Center

About a week or so after we sent a truckload of Bibles to the St. Lucie County Jail in Fort Pierce, Florida, we received an email from a woman who works at the South Texas ICE Processing Center where immigrants who come across the border are detained. This woman wrote a very short email to me which said the following. “Good morning is it possible if you can send us some bibles. I work for South Texas ICE Processing Center. We reach out to local churches no respond. Just like you said great falling away of church.” 1,100 souls are housed at that facility, and the churches won’t help. But we will.

“And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.” Acts 16:9 (KJB)

Her email went on to say “I tell the detainees what would benefit a man or woman to gain the American dream or the whole world and lose your soul?” 1,100 Spanish Kings James Bible is no small amount of Bibles to send, especially when you factor in shipping costs. But by faith, I approved her request for immediate delivery, and those Bibles are on their way to South Texas as you read this. What an honor, and privilege, it is for the Lord to allow you and I to get in on this. Have you ever thought of ministry like that, that it’s a honor the Lord allows us to partake in it? Well, it is.

Very few people care about illegal immigrants in a holding center, in America they are used primarily as political talking points between the Democrat and Republican parties. But while politicians jockey for position while bickering amongst themselves, it’s like the Lord is asking “who wants to send these souls I died for My word that some might be saved?” I do, Lord, we all do, use us Father, please. It feels to me like the Lord is opening up the floodgates to us here at NTEB, allowing us the honor of handing out His word to as many people as will receive it. Please pray for the 1,100 souls in South Texas who will be receiving these Bibles we sent them, pray for the woman who requested them that the Lord will allow her to lead many of them to salvation in Jesus Christ.
