We are now passing 92,000 free King James Bibles, New Testaments and Romans and John scripture portions handed out for in 2022!

I got a great email this morning, this is what it said in part – “I am a chaplain at two different hospitals owned by East Alabama Health. I serve at the main hospital in Opelika, AL and at the Lanier Hospital in Valley, AL. Sometimes we have patients who request a “whole” Bible, not the Gideon New Testament which we do have. Due to the COVID epidemic the hospital budget is running a huge deficit, even after the government reimbursements. Is your ministry willing and able to supply KJV Bibles to hospitals? Our Chaplain Director works so very hard at trying to scrounge up supplies for us to use; this would be a really, really wonderful surprise for her, if you could help out. They would be kept in her office until requested and given out with her approval only. Thank You for your time and consideration, Chaplain Billy Crenshaw.” Now that’s my favorite kind of email!

Last night at a Chamber of Commerce function, I spoke with St Johns County Sherriff Rob Hardwick, and I told him about Bibles Behind Bars. His whole face lit up when he understood what I was telling him about our program of putting King James Bibles in to jails and prisons across America. We’re going to get together after Thanksgiving to discuss it, and I am just as excited as he is! Don’t get me wrong, I love all the jails and prisons the Lord is allowing us to stock with Bibles, but to be able to do it right in my own hometown is especially satisfying.

Every day of every week of every month, requests pour in for free Bibles, New Testaments and scripture portions, and so far we haven’t turned down a single one. There’s a reason for that. The first reason is that God has raised up this work, and opens doors for us otherwise unattainable. The second reason is because NTEB’ers regularly bath this ministry in prayer. The third reason is NTEB’ers give generously and sacrificially to make this work possible. It takes hundreds of thousands of dollars per year to do all these things, and the cost only keeps going up. Shipping is out of control, paper is up 30%, the supply chain has been slowed to a crawl. Yet, through it all God sustains us all in the work He’s called all of us to accomplish for His Name and His Kingdom.

We are still about 8,000 Bibles away from hitting 100,000, which translates out to about $30,000 of funds needed to get to that mark. Will you pray about joining with us to provide the funding necessary to accomplish what the Lord has set before us? Thank you all so very much…TO THE FIGHT!!!

We have a Gospel Billboard program. We are now broadcasting Bible studies, Podcasts and a Sunday Service 5 times a week, thanks to your generous donations. All this is possible because YOU pray for us, YOU support us, and YOU give so we can continue growing.

But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. The Lord has given us an open door with a tremendous ‘course’ for us to fulfill that will create an excellent experience at the Judgement Seat of Christ.
