DOCTRINE MATTERS: You Will Never Again Be Fooled By Attempts To Predict The Pretribulation Rapture When You Learn What The Bible Says Must Take Place First

Every end times prediction for the Pretribulation Rapture will fail unless it’s made with these two biblical preconditions in mind

Another false Pretribulation Rapture of the believers prediction has come and gone, to which I say “ho-hum, pass the salt, please”. I haven’t been fooled by Rapture date-setters since I fell for the teachings of false prophet Harold Camping of Family Radio back in 1994. The main reason why I haven’t is because since that time I have studied what the Bible lists as clear and concise conditions that must be present before the Body of Christ will be removed from the Earth. Paul says it right there in the verse listed below, read it for yourself, believe it, and you won’t be fooled next time. Now let’s roll up our sleeves and learn some scripture, shall we?

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;” 2 Thessalonians 2:3 (KJB)

First, pay no attention to the gloaters and mockers making hay right now over your ‘rapture distress’, they themselves are part of the end time ‘scoffers’ mentioned in 2 Peter 3:3. And the people who made the false rapture prediction? They are part of the ‘falling away’ from sound Bible doctrine that Paul talks about repeatedly. So the mere fact that all this is happening is actually a good sign, showing just how close we really are. Many have taught the Pretribulation Rapture has always been imminent, which means ‘at any time”, but I respectively disagree some of my teachers. I say the Rapture is conditional, and for the following reasons.

Preconditions for the Rapture of the Church to take place: 

When talking about the Rapture of the Church, we always mention that it is the Pretribulation Rapture, meaning that it will take place before the start of the time of Jacob’s trouble. This is an important distinction as there are 7 Raptures listed inside your King James Bible. You should take a moment to read about all 7 of them, that is an excellent starting point. Here are the 2 preconditions laid out by Paul for the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church.

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;” 2 Thessalonians 2:3 (KJB)

  • Precondition #1: The Falling Away. Paul say that the day of the Rapture shall not come except (unless or until) 2 preconditions are met, the falling away is the first condition. What does Paul mean by a falling away? Well, Paul is quite clear in 2 Timothy 4:1-5, that in the last days churches will not be preaching sound doctrine, and Christians will not be enduring sound doctrine. What will you have in its place? Opinions, feelings, biases, prejudices, politics and social justice, just like we have now in churches everywhere you look. So in the last days, there will be a falling away from the clear doctrinal truth in the Bible given to us by Paul. Read more about the Falling Away here.
  • Precondition #2: The Revealing of the Man of Sin. Nowhere in scripture does it say the Church will interact with the Antichrist, but it does say that the ‘man of sin’ who becomes Antichrist must be revealed before the Rapture. What does that look like? In John 13, we see the Last Supper in the upper room where Judas, obviously the man of sin (John 6:70), is revealed to the disciples at the moment he becomes the ‘son of perdition’. In that moment, Judas goes down and into darkness while the remaining disciples are safe with the Lord ‘up in the air’ on the second floor of the upper room. In my opinion, I consider precondition 1 to be about as fulfilled as it’s going to be. We list dozens of reasons for this in our False Teachers section, and we invite you to spend a few hours reading the evidence we’ve been able to compile over the last 16 and a half years. As far as the revealing of the man of sin goes, I believe the Bible is quite clear. The Antichrist will be Judas Iscariot who has been waiting in his own place (Acts 1:25) for the last 2,000 years. What human form he will take no one knows. We think it might be Emmanuel Macron, but as we’ve always said, that is only our opinion.

Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, let me say this about how you as a believer should view the Rapture of the Church. It is not an escape from persecution, prosecution, paying bills, having to work a job, illness, loneliness, hunger, homelessness or disappointment. In the world you will have tribulation, small “t” (John 16:33), while we wait and work for the Kingdom of God. The Bible says that in the time of the falling away, our time, the professing Church will be lukewarm when it comes to doctrine (Revelation 3:14-20) and doing the work the Lord left us here to do. The very same people making these false predictions, based on their own opinions and conjecture, are some of the same people we are warned against listening to! While we wait for our ‘blessed hope’, let’s be as busy as we can be, working to put souls in seats on Flight #777. That’s what the Lord left us here to do, so let’s do it. TO THE FIGHT!!!
