The Lord Continues To Pour Blessing On Us As The Number Of King James Bibles, New Testaments And Scripture Portions Reaches 82,250 For 2022 So Far

The Lord broke me down by bring to my attention that I got saved through a free King James Bible program!! How on earth did I miss that? To say ‘Wow!’ would be a major understatement.

Do you remember back in the end of January when I said that support of the Free Bible Program was so strong, it looked like we might hit 30,000 for the year? And then do you recall about two weeks ago when I said that we were really close to 50,000? As it turns out, as of yesterday, NTEB has paid for 82,500 King James Bibles, New Testaments and scripture portions of Romans and John to be sent out across America and around the world to pastors, preachers, missionaries and evangelists to jails, prisons, foreign fields and to home Bible studies and small groups. Praise the Lord for what He is doing through all of us here, and get ready for what He has for us next. Now let me tell you what happened to me on Tuesday at the Scripture Conference in Tennessee.

“The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.” Psalm 68:11 (KJB)

This was the second year for me to attend the Scripture Conference put on by Bible Literature and Missionary Foundation, and they had some great men of God there to deliver some strong preaching on the importance of sending out the word of God. I heard some great messages on Monday night, and Tuesday was “all day preaching” which I love. The preacher was up there, firing it “waist high and across the plate”, when God started talking with me.

The Lord reminded me of how I got saved all those years ago, and He asked where I got the Bible from in order to be able to read John 3:16 and get saved. “From my parent’s basement, Lord, in the dark, at a few minutes to midnight”, I replied. Indeed you did, but how did it get there?, He asked. “Lord, you know my dad took it from that hotel room years earlier”, I said. Well, the Lord replied, how did it get into the hotel room? That’s when I felt His Spirit wash over me like a rolling tsunami, as I made the connection for perhaps the first time. I have published the account of how I got saved, read by tens of thousands of people to date, and I have given my testimony probably about a hundred times or more. But it wasn’t until this precise moment, under strong preaching at the scripture conference, that I made the connection. I got saved with a King James Bible that was printed and paid for by the prayers and financial contributions of Christians who had a burden to get God’s word out in these last days. Sound familiar? I got saved through a free Bible program!! How on earth did I miss that? Sometimes you can be so close to something and not even see it, this is such a case. But man, oh, man, were my eyes were wide open now.

As all this washed over me, the Lord bringing these things to my remembrance, tears began to flow in a cleansing, illuminating flood. Like one of those movie montages replaying the events of years in a single, sepia tone minute, I again saw myself praying to get saved back in 1991, just me, the Lord and the King James Bible. I saw when the Lord, in 2018, put on my heart to start the Free Bible Program in my bedroom, 2020 when other people started supporting it, 2021 when we hit over 11,000 Bibles sent out, all the way up to this year when we launched Bibles Behind Bars. I could not get those words out of my head, “I got saved through a free Bible program”, it ripped through me like holy fire. When it was done, I knew what I had to do, and you better believe I was shaking while I did it. You’ll see why in a moment.

I got in my car and drove over to the Bible Barn at BL&MF, and sat down with Karen who runs the front office. With my eyes still wet from fresh tears, I told her what I am telling you now, and that I needed to dramatically step up what NTEB is doing regarding sending out Bibles. When I got up from that conversation, we had not only hit 50,000 Bibles, we blew past it to 82,250, paid for with your prayers, donations and a whole lotta faith to reach that number. “I got saved through a free Bible program!!” We will not only reach 100,000 for 2022, we will likely go past that. Right now we have three orders waiting to be processed, so technically we are at 85,000. All this made possible from your prayers and your generous financial support.

On our upcoming Sunday Service, I am going to share with you all the vision the Lord has given me for next phase of the Free Bible and Gospel Tract Program, where He wants to take it to, and what role all of us will play in bringing that about. Can you imagine NTEB giving out one million King James Bibles, New Testaments and scripture portions? If not, it’s time to increase your faith…TO THE FIGHT!!!
