In The Bleak And Dreary Closing Days Of Winter Along I-12 In Baton Rouge, A Triumphant Banner Proclaiming ‘Jesus Saves!’ Is Piercing The Darkness

Waft it on the rolling tide: Jesus saves! Jesus saves! Tell to sinners far and wide: Jesus saves! Jesus saves!

For a little over 4 years now, NTEB has partnered with Kyle and Raigan Gorzell in Baton Rouge to maintain a gospel witness billboard high up over a very busy section of I-12 that runs through the area. Vehicles carrying 200,000 people per day pass by the sign that for all this time has proclaimed a very simple and very powerful message – “Jesus Saves!”.

“By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.” Hebrews 7:22,25 (KJB)

In 1882, a Sunday School Teacher by the name of Priscilla Owens wrote the lyrics to one of the most soul-stirring and soul winning hymns of all time, ‘Jesus Saves!’. I have sung that hymn hundreds of times during church and revival meetings over the years, and each time is like the first time. If you could take Paul’s gospel and boil it down into just two simple words, that’d be it, ‘Jesus Saves!’, and that’s the billboard we now have up over I-12 in Baton Rouge. Please take a moment and pray for the hundreds of thousands of people who will drive by it just this week, that it would convict them of their lost condition and lead them to Jesus.

We have heard the joyful sound: Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Spread the tidings all around: Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Bear the news to every land, climb the mountains, cross the waves;
onward! ’tis our Lord’s command; Jesus saves! Jesus saves!

When you donate to our outreaches like the Gospel Billboard, Free Bible and Bibles Behind Bars programs, you are allowing us to reach, to date, nearly half a billion people with the gospel message, and over 400,000 people with a physical King James Bible, New Testament, gospel tracts or scripture portions in their hands. Combined views of all NTEB billboards, digital and vinyl, is just under 750,000,000 souls. If you think that reaching this many people with the gospel is a good thing, please go to our Waygiver funding page and make a donation so we can keep doing it. It costs $10,800 per year to maintain a gospel message on this billboard, and we need your help to keep it going.

Thank you so very much…TO THE FIGHT!!!

Now The End Begins is your front line defense against the rising tide of darkness in the last Days before the Rapture of the Church

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. We have a Gospel Billboard program. We are now broadcasting Bible studies, Podcasts and a Sunday Service 5 times a week, thanks to your generous donations. All this is possible because YOU pray for us, YOU support us, and YOU give so we can continue growing.

But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. The Lord has given us an open door with a tremendous ‘course’ for us to fulfill that will create an excellent experience at the Judgement Seat of Christ. Please pray for our efforts, and if the Lord leads you to donate, be as generous as possible. The war is REAL, the battle HOT and the time is SHORTTO THE FIGHT!!!

“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” Titus 2:13 (KJB)

“Thank you very much!” – Geoffrey, editor-in-chief, NTEB
