(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – If conservatives have any hope at all of winning back the culture and reversing the damage done to American values and principles by the left, we’re going to have to get in the game and actually play.
It isn’t enough to sit back and express condemnation and outrage. If conservatives want to win they’re going to have to start acting like it.
Leftist policies and ideas are morally bankrupt and anti-American and it’s time for freedom-loving American patriots to start taking tangible action to fight back against their attacks on this country.
One county in North Carolina is doing just that and we should all take note. Surry County, North Carolina has announced their decision to ban Coca-Cola machines in response to the corporation’s left-wing political agenda.
“The left wing in America, they defund, they boycott, they cancel, they tear down statues — all sorts of egregious actions. The expectation from them is the opposing political side will cower in the corner and we’re supposed to accept that and it’s supposed to be OK. And it’s not OK.” Eddie Harris, Surry County county commissioner, said.
He’s absolutely right. It’s not OK and Americans are fed up and have had enough of the left dictating what’s supposedly right and wrong.
“Millions of Americans believe that the last presidential election was not held in a fair manner and that more voter fraud will occur in the future if elections are not more closely monitored and regulated,” Harris wrote according to WXII.
Harris is referring to Coca-Cola’s public criticism of the state of Georgia for passing election and voting integrity legislation earlier this year aimed at protecting future elections from the corrupt Democrat chicanery seen in the 2020 presidential election.
Coca-Cola’s public stance against this legislation, and essentially in favor of corruption and fraud, resulted in the Surry County commissioners voting 3-2 to ban Coca-Cola vending machines in county-owned properties.

Harris sent Coca-Cola CEO James Quincey a letter, written on official county letterhead, blasting the company and their political agenda calling it “wrong on many levels.”
Harris slammed Quincey and the company for failing to issue any public statements “regarding the placement of China’s ethnic Uighurs and Turkic Muslim minorities in concentration camps.”
He asked Quincey, “Where is your outrage of this persecution in a Communist country in which Coca-Cola is heavily invested?”
The letter, obtained by the Daily Wire, continues on and Harris says that it has come to their attention “that your company has adopted policies that disparage people based on their race” and indeed this is true.
Coca-Cola was exposed by a whistleblower promoting “training” that encouraged white employees to “be less white” and noted “10 areas in which Caucasians should improve.”
Harris said, “This type of bigoted and racist thinking has no place in corporate America or our country. People should be judged by the content of their character not the color of their skin.”
He went on to slam Coca-Cola for their allegiance to the Democratic Party saying that it’s “unnecessary in an era where Americans of all beliefs are more divided now than at any time in the last century.”
Harris then spoke for the millions of Americans who are tired and weary of the left’s constant outrage and cancel culture. He said, “Citizens of Surry County and across America are growing increasingly tired of large multinational corporations and their CEOs pushing an increasingly intolerant, bigoted, left-wing, divisive political agenda on its customers.”
“Due to your company’s support of the out-of-control cancel culture and bigoted leftist mob,” he continued, “the Surry Board of County Commissioners voted at their May 17, 2021 meeting to remove all Coca-Cola machines from Surry County Government facilities.”
He explained that the Board felt it was the best way to express to Coca-Cola their “disappointment” in the company’s actions and stances “which are not representative of most views of our citizens.”
He concludes by saying that he hopes other organizations across America are taking similar action against the company and that Coca-Cola will try to be “more considerate of all your customers’ viewpoints” in the future.
That’s the way you fight back against the left. Conservatives are going to have to roll up our sleeves and actually fight in the culture war if we ever hope to win it. Kudos to Surry County Commissioner Eddie Harris!
