January 27 has been designated by the United Nations as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The date was chosen because, on January 27, 1945, the infamous Nazi German slave labor and death camp, Auschwitz-Birkenau, was liberated by the Soviet army.

If you look at the Nazi Holocaust from the end of it going backwards, it is too minding numbing to comprehend, even all these years later when I look at films from that time and see the destruction, I cannot rightly wrap my head around it. But in doing so, we must be careful not to overlook how the Holocaust, a type of the coming time of Jacob’s trouble from the Bible, began with such inauspicious simplicity. The horror of the gas chambers and the ovens was the end point for what started with Nazi soldiers writing threatening words on the windows of Jewish shopkeepers using a ten cent bar of soap. Think about that.

“Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.” Jeremiah 16:16 (KJB)

Your King James Bible is quite clear, the Holocaust is coming again for the Jews, and it will be many times worse than the one Hitler, a type of Antichrist in 7 particulars, created back in the 1930’s. This stunning fact is unknown among lost people, unknown among the Jews in our day who reject their own prophets, unknown to most Christians and is not taught at 90% of the Christian seminaries around the world. So as you survey the end times landscapes, don’t look for the gas chambers and ovens of the coming persecution, look for the people in power who hold the ten cent bars of soap using words as their weapon of choice. That’s where it will begin, and indeed, has already begun.

The Holocaust did not begin with Auschwitz. It started with Nazi demonization and dehumanization of an entire people

FROM FOX NEWS: The Auschwitz camp was actually a complex of camps and work sites, was the destination for more than 1.3 million people arrested, deported, and enslaved by Hitler’s regime. Beyond imagination, an estimated 1.1 million were murdered there, of whom one million were Jews from across Europe and one hundred thousand were primarily Soviet prisoners of war, Polish Catholics, and Roma.

Auschwitz-Birkenau was not the only killing site. Other camps included Belzec, Buchenwald, Dachau, Mauthausen, Sobibor, and Treblinka. In all, an estimated six million Jews, or two-thirds of European Jewry, were exterminated by Nazi Germany and its collaborators, whether in camps, forced marches, round-ups, or other killing sites, such as Babi Yar, a ravine in the outskirts of Kyiv, Ukraine.

The Holocaust defies imagination. Its aim was the Endlösung, or Final Solution, of the Jewish people. In pursuit of this goal, a new alphabet of genocide was created — from A for Auschwitz to Z for Zyklon-b, the nerve gas used in the gas chambers.

Every Jew was a target, including 1.5 million children. The Jews were pursued for one reason— they were Jews and, according to Adolf Hitler’s demented worldview, all Jews had to be eliminated. During the Holocaust, there was no Israel. Had there been, how many Jews might have found safe haven when so many countries around the world, including the U.S., shamefully turned their backs on the fate of Jews desperate to escape.  READ MORE
