(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – One of the most critical issues our nation is facing today is that of free and fair elections. It’s essential for the survival of liberty that we take action to ensure there are protections in place to prevent voter fraud from happening (as it did in the 2020 presidential election) so that every American’s voice is heard at the ballot box.
However, if you dare to mention this to Democrats, if you ever suggest or even mention measures like voter ID laws or restrictions on casting absentee ballots, well, you’re going to see a temper tantrum of biblical proportions.
The fact they resist these kinds of actions to ensure secure elections doesn’t really do much to make regular Americans want to trust them when they claim to care about fair elections.
And neither do situations like the one in Harris County, Texas, where a whopping 10,000 mail-in votes — 6,000 Democrats and 4,000 Republicans — went completely unaccounted for after the March 1 primary, according to a report from Fox News.
The Western Journal covered the story saying that the votes were to be counted on Tuesday, which is a full week after the actual election took place, according to a piece published by The Texas Tribune.
“Harris County Elections Administrator Isabel Longoria, who was appointed to the position in 2020, announced her intention to resign Tuesday, in a move that comes just one day after the Harris County Republican Party announced legal action to oust her,” the WJ reported.

“Longoria was appointed elections administrator by Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, a progressive Democrat, according to Fox. (In Texas, the presiding officer of county commissioners is known as the ‘county judge’),” the report continued.
Longoria’s resignation came hours after Hidalgo made the call for a “change in leadership” inside the elections office, according to the Fox News report. The resignation will fully take effect on July 1.
“In addition to the missing ballots, Longoria’s county was plagued with other problems including a shortage of poll workers, and issues with voting machines,” the Western Journal said.
“Longoria claimed that her office reported the votes immediately upon discovery, but Harris County Commissioner Tom Ramsey disputed that claim, according to the New York Post,” the report continued.
“We know about them because of the protocol if the Secretary of State was able to call us and say, ‘Hey, you’re short the 10,000,’” Ramsey went on to say, according to a report from the Post.
Texas Gov. Gregg Abbott, who has signed some pretty tough election laws that led to thousands of mail-in votes being disqualified ahead of the race, was very angry that Longoria “bungled the election” in her county.
“Republicans & Democrats agree: Harris County elections chief bungled the election,” the Republican governor posted on Twitter Wednesday.
“Bad staff & inadequate voting machines were just part of it. They ‘found’ 10,000 more votes a week AFTER the election,” he noted.
“There are 254 counties in TX. Only 1 got it wrong,” the governor added.

The home county of the city of Houston, Harris County is the most populous in the whole state of Texas.
“The problems there appear to be the result of gross incompetence, but this matter does serve to illustrate how easy it is to undermine the process without even trying,” the report said. “Elections security has been a growing concern following the 2020 presidential election, though to say so was taboo at the time.”
Democrats continue to claim that the 2020 presidential election was the most secure election of all time. However, there has been many charges of fraud that once were deemed impossible that have come to light in the time since the election. Meanwhile, proposed voter ID laws have constantly come under fire from the left as being a return to Jim Crow-era racism.
It’s apparently just fine to require an ID to buy beer or to get a credit card or buy a gun, but for some odd reason, it’s racist to show one when you vote. The reason why is pretty obvious. Liberals rely on illegal aliens to help pad their numbers during elections. Voter ID laws stop that from happening.
Which is exactly why we need them.

This absolutely needs to be addressed. Otherwise, the American people will never be able to get behind any leader or politician from this point forward. We won’t be able to heal the divide among us and that spells disaster for our future.
