(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – Joe Biden has been making sure to pander as hard as his little heart — and even smaller brain — will allow him to over nominating the first black woman to the U.S. Supreme Court, which is the fulfillment of a campaign promise he made stating that his first pick for the bench would not be a white, Hispanic, or Asian woman or man.
Because, apparently, the best qualification for placing someone on the Supreme Court isn’t their track record of being fair, balanced, and safeguarding liberty, but the color of their skin and their gender.
Democrats in the Senate have, of course, been employing the use of the race card to try and paint up every inquiry made by Republicans concerning nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s record concerning her taking it easy on child porn offenders as nothing more than racism and sexism.
What else could it possibly be, right? There’s no way that Jackson’s record of going soft on these sickos could be the reason for the concern. It’s always about race and color.
According to WND, “But a black woman could have been on the Supreme Court 17 years ago if not for Joe Biden and other Democratic leaders on the Senate Judiciary Committee, argued Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, during debate Monday.”
“Countering the charges of racism and sexism, Cruz recalled the Democrats’ opposition to Judge Janice Rogers Brown, a black woman (pictured here), as well as Amy Coney Barrett,” the report continued.
“There is some irony in that – because all of the Democrats on this committee were only so happy to vote against the nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett without facing any concerns about the sexism they were showing,” Cruz went on to say.
“And there’s greater irony in celebrating this historic first” of a black female Supreme Court justice, he continued, “because it would have occurred 20 years ago.”
But Democrats, Cruz added, “filibustered a qualified African American woman, Judge Janice Rogers Brown.”
Brown was never nominated to the Supreme Court, but she was definitely on the path to doing so when former President George W. Bush nominated her to be part of the most influential appeals court, the D.C. Court of Appeals.
Then, in November 2003, Democrats took action to filibuster Brown’s nomination to the D.C. Circuit. She was then confirmed by the Senate on June 5, 2005, with then-Senator Joe Biden voting against her confirmation.
Just a month later, when Brown’s name was put forward as a possibility for a vacancy on the Supreme Court, Biden said he would not support her nomination.
“I can assure you that would be a very, very, very difficult fight and she probably would be filibustered,” Biden went on to tell “Face the Nation.”

“During the Senate hearings for Jackson last month, Cruz and Sens. Josh Hawley of Missouri and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina questioned the judge about her lenient sentences in child pornography cases, her representation of accused Islamic terrorists and her stance on the teaching of the ‘anti-racist’ principles of the neo-Marxist Critical Race Theory in schools,” WND reported.
However, at the end of the questioning, Democratic Sen. Cory Booker from the state of New Jersey went on to tell Jackson she had faced “insults here that were shocking to me.”
Really? Who insulted her? What were these insults? Or is Booker just trying to help foment racism and division where none existed?
“Nobody’s taking this away from me,” Booker went on to say as Jackson wept. “Don’t worry, my sister. Don’t worry. God has got you. And how do I know that? Because you’re here, and I know what it’s taken for you to sit in that seat.”
“Cruz, however, pointed out in an interview that unlike Democrats’ grilling of Kavanaugh and Barrett, Republicans focused their questions on policy issues,” the report noted.
“You played clips of the Democrats slamming Republican nominees, going personal, going into the gutter, going after their character,” Cruz said during an interview on Fox News. “If you look at the hearing the last two days, the questions that Republicans focused on were her record and in particular, her judicial record.”
Later on in the interview, Cruz pointed to Jackson’s record as a federal judge in cases pertaining to child pornography.
“In every single case where she had discretion a child pornography case, she gave dramatically lower sentences than the sentencing guidelines provide for, and that the prosecutor asked for,” Cruz remarked.
“And the Democrats just kept getting upset, saying, ‘How dare you focus on her actual record?’ You know, I think the American people are concerned whether we’ll have a Supreme Court justice that’s going to follow the law, or we’re going to have a Supreme Court justice that is looking for loopholes to let violent criminals out of jail,” he concluded.
Democrats always like to play the race card, while ignoring the very blatant racism and hate that leaks from every single position on their platform. Very convenient.
