(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – Funny story, folks.
Despite there being government vaccination mandates in place, it seems members of the Biden administration, along with several reporters, are among the 72 prominent folks who have now tested positive for COVID-19 after attending the annual Gridiron Dinner in Washington, D.C.
According to WND, “The infected included Attorney General Merrick Garland; Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo; New York Mayor Eric Adams; Reps. Joaquin Castro, D-Texas, and Adam Schiff, D-Calif., the chairman of the Intelligence Committee; Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine; Vice President Kamala Harris’ communications director, Jamal Simmons; first lady Jill Biden’s press secretary, Michael LaRosa; and Valerie Biden Owens, the president’s sister, NBC News reported.”
Tom Vilsack, the agriculture secretary, who has received all of his shots like a good boy, tested positive for the coronavirus last Friday, NBC pointed out. His office has gone on to emphasize that he has thus far only experienced mild symptoms.
Because, you know, that’s the purpose of the vaccine. Not to prevent people from getting the virus. That’s just silliness. No, the vaccine is to ensure that you don’t have a severe case and end up in the hospital or taking a nap in a coffin.
Feel free to roll your eyes.
The Gridiron Dinner is where National Politicians and National Media schmooze each year. Everyone was required to be vax’ed. 70+ of 600 have COVID.

“Last week, the spokesman for Nancy Pelosi, who was not at the Gridiron event, said the ‘fully vaccinated and boosted’ House speaker was asymptomatic after testing positive for COVID-19 and ‘is thankful for the robust protection the vaccine has provided,’” the report from WND stated.
“The ability of the vaccines to reduce the severity of illness has been the last argument of promoters of the shots, after acknowledgements by CDC Director Rochelle Walensky and others that they have failed to stop infection and transmission. However, the dominant omicron variant and a recently discovered subvariant have presented with mild symptoms among both the vaccinated and the unvaccinated,” WND said.
And then there’s the government data indicating that there are actually more infections and deaths and hospitalizations coming from the vaccinated folks opposed to those who have skipped the jabs.
In the meantime, Biden’s COVID tsar, Dr. Ashish Jha, stated that the federal government is not “excessively concerned” about the brand spanking new omicron subvariant making its rounds across the world.
“We don’t have to let it dictate our lives anymore,” he went on to say.
Newsflash. We never had to allow it to dictate our lives. In fact, a large portion of the country decided to do just that the whole time this fiasco has been going on.
Dr. Leana Wen, a medical analyst for CNN, stated that same view in a column published by the Washington Post, titled “The Gridiron Club outbreak shows what living with covid-19 looks like.”
In a series of posts on Twitter promoting her recent piece, she went on to say that accepting coronavirus infections “will be part of our lives doesn’t mean that we are giving up.”
“Rather, it means acknowledging that we finally have the tools to live with it, and that people will make different choices from our own,” she continued.
The Gridiron Club dinner was probably a #covid19 superspreader.
But events like this should still go on.

“In contrast, Mother Jones reporter Tom Philpott’s wrote a piece titled ‘The Gridiron Club Superspreader Event Shows We Can’t Just Go Back to Normal,’” WND reported.
Yes, actually, we can go back to normal and that seems to be what the vast majority of Americans have done. We never needed the permission of the medical community or the government to choose to live free and not worry about this virus.
That’s what makes us special as a society. A lot of us can think for ourselves. We have access to information and can make decisions we feel are best for us and our loved ones without needing government interference.
It’s what we’ve been saying all along.
