Help us to get the 85 children at the Glory Fellowship Orphanage in Kenya another milk cow and calf to supply them with the nourishment they need
Right now, we are in the midst of helping the Glory Fellowship Orphanage in Kisii to become self-sustaining, and watching the LORD work it all out is such a miracle. So far we have been used to get the orphans Bibles for them and for the church, medicine for malaria and typhoid, clean drinking water with a well and storage tank, beds, blankets and pillows to sleep on, and funded the building of Maria’s Hope Farm that’ll supply them with fresh produce. They already have chickens and a cow, but that’s not nearly enough for 85 orphans. Those kids need more milk, and we have the opportunity to help them get it. You can see the two cows I am talking about in the photo at the top of this article. Cute, eh?

There is a milk cow for sale in Kisii, it comes with a calf, and the owner of those wonderful farm animals is willing to sell them both to Pastor Dancan for $1,500. It would bless the orphans in ways that you and I living here in the abundance of America would be hard-pressed to wrap our heads around. I thought I knew what poverty was when we started working with Bro. Irad and the children of Good Child Missions in Uganda. But how they live is relative luxury compared to the children in Kenya. God has used all of us here to radically provide a better quality of life for these precious orphans, and I am excited to see them achieve a level of self-sufficiency. We are close to that now.
